"Miniature!" He held the necklace that he is wearing.

I noticed that the pendant is something I saw in the academy.
It took me some time to realize what I was holding with my bare hands…
Yes, the miniature of his CCAFP Baghawi Class 2008 necklace.
I was speechless. But I know… I was smiling.
He explained, "I have that necklace for one year and four months now. And I waited for the one who will be owning that. They are three actually. I gave the other one to my mom as my Christmas gift for her last year. And this one I’m giving you." - Dec. 29, 2007.

I was chatting with a good friend a while ago. He is a person who doesn’t really say a lot, but every time he buts in, one might not seem to soon forget the words he utters. Those words of him make me think back and reflect… and right now, even though he doesn’t say anything, I believe that he is wishing me the best, and wishing that I would find the man that I deserve…
"He is part of the universe." As what bishop and gifted child would tease, lol! And being a good friend, I know that he wants me to be happy.
Somehow, what he told me before helped me. Enlightened me in a way. I can’t even forget how positively he reacted when he knew that flowers came through my doorstep. And even though he doesn’t say it out loud, I know his bet…
Which half to believe? The answer is in me. I looked at myself in the mirror and I saw a woman who longs to be happy at last. And behind her, within her, is a man who fills in all of her weaknesses and shortcomings, who puts in all his might to support and heal her vulnerability… Behind her is the man who would take the lead when all her powers have been consumed, and would keep on coming back to her when all else has failed.

I don’t have to wait. I don’t have to search. I don’t have to ask. He is JUST THERE.
