On Fortune-Telling
I have been telling fortune since I was nine years old.
In time I have discovered palm-reading, handwriting-reading, photograph-reading, cartomancy, tarot card-reading and subconscious reading.
In palm-reading, I discover the past, present and future life of a person in a larger span of life - which can cover a single lifetime.
There are persons whose palms I have read once, some more than five times.
Holding the record was the time I read more than 20 people’s palms in about half a day. They were a group of foreigners who were in our place for a family trip. They were all very enthusiastic on every thing that I was telling them.
However, historically, my gift had been discovered during the election period of 1998 when I had been blurting out statements about the political situation and figures of our small town during that time - particularly things I believed would happen in the near future - which did happen within a few countable days.
I can vividly remember that in a diary I kept a list of candidates who would emerge winners of that election and the results turned out to be as what I have predicted. They were the ten people in my list, written with pencil in my pink diary. I had been changing some of the names in the list as the campaign progressed but most of them stayed in the list since then.
On that same period, I also blurted out a tragedy that will happen in the neighboring town which would cause the winning of an unlikely winner. In that instance, a candidate (if my memory serves me right) accidentally killed himself. His gun fell causing the bullet to emerge hitting him directly in his head. This event enabled the winning of the opponent.
There were several people who heard me predict the very unexpected happening and they could attest to the truthfulness after the tragedy happened. That was a few days before the 1998 election.
Since then, many people come to me to have their fortune told. I did and still do it for free, although there were others who voluntarily offer something as gratitude.
There were times when I am in the mood to do the reading, sometimes I am not. Sometimes I just utter words about a person’s near future and do assessments.
In any way, I have always believed that I have the gift and the talent to do it all - maybe that what makes me more accurate in telling people’s fortune.
In handwriting-reading, I can tell the person’s present or recent situation, which can include his or her personality in general and his or her attitude towards the decisions he or she makes and circumstances he or she faces.
I do this when there is no sunlight to help me read palms - usually when I am asked during the late afternoon or evening, or when in a closed and likely dim areas.
I read photographs when a person asks me to read a person other than himself - or matters pertaining to his or her relationship with the particular person. I usually do this with photograph of lovers who want to have the slightest idea whether they are meant to be or what would happen to them in the long run. Or about a business partner, a boss, an acquaintance, or someone from the past or a prospect this or that.
I did cartomancy in a very short while but I did not enjoy it. It is one of the last resorts since playing cards are very common among people. I want the fortune-telling to be more special and more exclusive.
I introspect or read minds when people are in the middle of confusion, when it is unclear to them the meaning of the things that are happening to them or when they are uncertain which decision to make. It is a form of enlightenment and reflection for the people I use this gift on.
I had started with tarot cards lately. And it is a major material to me now. I find it more informative and more specific, which tells more about a person’s near future.
Today, I have found a more profound purpose to my God-given talent. It is not merely helping people choose the better track of their crossroads or warning them of the unfortunate events that might come along the way, or predicting that they would be lucky in business, travel, promotion, relationships or passion, or whether they would be healthy or sick or how they would die.
To me, for as long as I can tell something about their future, I know that they still have more days to be here on earth.
Show me the palm of a cancer patient, tell me the chosen cards of a bedridden grandparent, show me the picture of a soldier at war, show me the handwriting of a retarded child, for as long as I can glimpse into their fortune we know that they are going to live a little longer. Even just a little. For us it is big enough.
